"Jesus loves you and knows you by name" is conveyed through words and actions.

Two Years - Five Years Old

Kids participate in a Bible Story, worship songs, coloring and/or craft, and get their wiggles out in the gym as they play on slides and climbing toys. Our curriculum, First Look, is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.

-God Made Me

-God Loves Me

-Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

Elementary (K-3rd Grade)

There ain’t no party like a “Pixel Party!” Hold up, wait a minute — you’ve never heard of a “Pixel Party”? Let’s fix that! A single pixel by itself is nothing too special — it’s just a small square. But when you put a bunch of those pixels together, they combine to form a picture. During the “Pixel Party,” kids will use colored sticky notes to form pictures that help tell the Big Bible Story. Moreover, as kids hear stories from the Gospels about life-changing encounters with Jesus, they’ll get a picture of the incredible love that Jesus has for us.

K-3rd Weekend Series

There are so many things to love about Christmas — the music, the presents, the decorations, the bad sweaters… and to top it all off, there are the twinkling lights. Christmas is sometimes referred to as the season of light. Not just because of the colorful lights you see hanging on houses and trees, but because we celebrate the birth of Jesus — the Light of the World. During “Light it Up,” kids will get clues about the contents of a present. At the flip of a switch, the present will light up, magically revealing its contents and shedding light on the amazing story of Jesus’ birth.

Preteen (4th-5th Grade)

Our 4th and 5th graders meet in the Warehouse (Student Center) located at the back of the gym. They spend time hanging out playing carpet ball, foosball, and other fun games, and then experience worship, a large group lesson, and small group time. We want kids to build relationships with God and with friends.  This program is geared towards their age group as students learn how to grow their faith, be more confident, and become disciples of Jesus.  Some of the topics we’ll cover this year include friendships, worship, attributes of God, and more!  See our current series below.  Come hang out with us this weekend – you won’t want to miss it!

Preteen Weekend Series

God’s “Room,” Heaven, shows us something about him. There are so many amazing treasures there, and what’s also amazing is this: God wants to share what’s in his room with us. Jesus even taught us to pray that things would be “On Earth as it is in Heaven.” This Christmastime, we’ll encourage to prepare room in their hearts for the gifts that God wants to give us; most importantly, the gift of Jesus Christ, Heaven’s ultimate treasure. This series begins our Winter Quarter, where we’ll be focusing on God as EMMANUEL. God is with us, “On Earth as it is in Heaven.”

EXPECTATIONS OF PARENTS:

  • At least one or both of the parents have made a commitment to having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We recognize that there are many families in which only one parent has come to faith and the spouse that is not yet a believer would like to participate—that is okay.
  • Parent(s) align with Christ Community’s beliefs and values.
  • Parents commit to modeling personal purity and to lead by example in matters of faith and conduct. That means living a life of sexual purity according to God's standards—avoiding pre-marital sexual relations and living together before marriage. Therefore, parents that are living together and are not married cannot participate in the dedication ceremony.
