"Jesus loves you and knows you by name" is conveyed through words and actions.

Two Years - Five Years Old

Kids participate in a Bible Story, worship songs, coloring and/or craft, and get their wiggles out in the gym as they play on slides and climbing toys. Our curriculum, First Look, is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.

-God Made Me

-God Loves Me

-Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

Elementary (K-3rd Grade)

Kids start in large group time with interactive worship, a Bible Story, and response time where they can respond to the lesson they just heard in their own way with the "Go Deep" take-home page they are given. For the last 15 to 20 minutes, kids move to their small groups which are designated by grade.  Our curriculum theme changes every month making it exciting and fun for our kids!

K-3rd Weekend Series:: ZOOM

Zoom in close! Well, not too close—you’ll go cross-eyed! During the “Zoom” series, kids will zoom in close (really close) to a mystery picture. As the picture zooms out, they’ll race to identify it. When each mystery picture becomes clear, so will God’s Word. Every week we’ll zoom in close to one of the first 5 books of the Bible—Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. We’ll take a close look at some of the key stories in each book. But we’ll also zoom out to see what each book, as a whole, shows us about the character of God.

Preteen (4th-5th Grade)

Our 4th and 5th graders meet in the Warehouse (Student Center) located at the back of the gym. They spend time hanging out playing carpet ball, foosball, and other fun games, and then experience worship, a large group lesson, and small group time. We want kids to build relationships with God and with friends.  This program is geared towards their age group as students learn how to grow their faith, be more confident, and become disciples of Jesus.  Some of the topics we’ll cover this year include friendships, worship, attributes of God, and more!  See our current series below.  Come hang out with us this weekend – you won’t want to miss it!

Preteen Weekend Series :: Mind-Blowing Awesomeness
During this series, the goal is for your preteens to stand in awe of our mind-blowingly awesome God, and to be transformed by his infinite glory. In addition, I hope that they will develop a greater spiritual thirst for God’s presence as they realize the depths of his love for them.

I'm New! What else do I need to know?

For more information, email or join us at our Parent Information Night on Monday June 12th from 7:00-8:00 PM at Redemption City Church

Your child's safety is very important to us. Every weekend, your child is assigned a random three-digit alpha-numeric code on their name tag and your security receipt that you will use to pick-up your child from kidcity. Should we need you during the service, we will send you a quick text message!

Each weekend, your kids are joined by amazing volunteers that love God and want to hang out with your kiddos. Each volunteer has met with a staff member, gone through training, and is screened with a background check.

Christ Community Church believes that children are a gift from God. Child dedication is a wonderful tradition where we get to recognize and celebrate parents publicly declaring their commitment to teach their kids the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our next Child Dedication weekend will be Sunday September 24th. If you have any questions about Child Dedication, contact Sam at .

EXPECTATIONS OF PARENTS:

  • At least one or both of the parents have made a commitment to having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We recognize that there are many families in which only one parent has come to faith and the spouse that is not yet a believer would like to participate—that is okay.
  • Parent(s) align with Christ Community’s beliefs and values.
  • Parents commit to modeling personal purity and to lead by example in matters of faith and conduct. That means living a life of sexual purity according to God's standards—avoiding pre-marital sexual relations and living together before marriage. Therefore, parents that are living together and are not married cannot participate in the dedication ceremony.
