Wednesday nights during the school year

Awana

Awana is designed to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and help them love and serve Him. During this weekly program, kids will have a blast with their friends engaging in worship, game time, Bible teaching, and more!

Kids are paired with a loving, caring adult who will meet with them each week to hear them recite verses they’ve been memorizing, pray with them, and encourage them.

The program consists of three individual clubs which operate independently from each other based on age group.

Awana meets from 6:30-7:50pm on Wednesdays, September to May. You do not need to be a member of Christ Community Church to attend Awana and your child can join at any time, even if the year has already started.

Prayer for the Week:

God, give my child a heart of compassion for others. Help them to be sensitive to the needs of those around them. May they see that “their kind words can cheer others up” (Prov. 12:25) and may they “be sympathetic and love others, be compassionate and humble” (1 Peter 3:8). (Thanks to MoreLikeGrace.com for tonight’s prayer!)

More Info

  • Cost is $60 per child/year and covers all supplies for the year! But please note: If money is a barrier, please let us know. Scholarships are available!

  • Your child's safety is very important to us. Every Wednesday, your child is assigned a random three-digit alpha-numeric code on their name tag and your security receipt that you will use to pick-up your child from Awana. Should we need you during the night, we will send you a quick text message.

Your kids are joined by amazing volunteers that love God and want to hang out with your kiddos. Each volunteer has met with a staff member, gone through training, and is screened with a background check.
