Make a Difference in a Kids Life!
Making a difference in a child's life can be as simple a 1 or 2 hours a month in a kidcity class! Being part of the kidcity team you help create a place for kids to know they are cared for and that they are seen.  By serving 1 to 2 times a month you will have the opportunity to help our kids learn about Jesus and help them start their week with His words. Don't have a lot of experience with kids? No worries, we will have everything all prepared for you and walk you through everything you need.

Interested, but not sure what area would be best for you?  No worries, fill out the form below and we will help you find the perfect fit for you!

"Jesus loves you and knows you by name" is conveyed through words and actions.

Two Years - Five Years Old

Kids participate in a Bible Story, worship songs, coloring and/or craft, and get their wiggles out in the gym as they play on slides and climbing toys. Our curriculum, First Look, is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.

-God Made Me

-God Loves Me

-Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

Elementary (K-3rd Grade)

Kids start in large group time with interactive worship, a Bible Story, and response time where they can respond to the lesson they just heard in their own way with the "Go Deep" take-home page they are given. For the last 15 to 20 minutes, kids move to their small groups which are designated by grade.  Our curriculum theme changes every month making it exciting and fun for our kids!

K-3rd Weekend Series:: Hide & Seek

Sometimes life can seem like one giant “seek and find.” Where did my sunglasses go? Why can’t I find the TV remote? Didn’t we come here with three kids? Gulp! Some “seek and finds” can be maddening or even frightening, but not this time. During the “Seek and Find” series, kids will seek high and low within the Big Bible Story pictures to find the hidden items. In doing so, they’ll get a complete picture of the Easter Story and, more importantly, of what it looks like to have a relationship with Jesus, the Risen Lord and Savior of the World.

Preteen (4th-5th Grade)

Our 4th and 5th graders meet in the Warehouse (Student Center) located at the back of the gym. They spend time hanging out playing carpet ball, foosball and other fun games and then experience worship, a large group lesson, and small group time. We want kids to build relationships with God and with friends.  This program is geared towards their age group as students learn how to grow their faith, be more confident, and become disciples of Jesus.  Some of the topics we’ll cover this year include friendships, worship, attributes of God, and more!  See our current series below.  Come hang  out with us this weekend – you won’t want to miss it!

New Preteen Weekend Series :: Pictures of Jesus
This weekend we are starting a new series called Pictures of Jesus. During this series, our goal is to help preteens understand who Jesus is - and therefore who God is - through a series of twelve pictures or images. God helped humanity to know HIMSELF when he made himself visible through the person of Jesus.

I'm New! What else do I need to know?

EXPECTATIONS OF PARENTS:

  • At least one or both of the parents have made a commitment to having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We recognize that there are many families in which only one parent has come to faith and the spouse that is not yet a believer would like to participate—that is okay.
  • Parent(s) align with Christ Community’s beliefs and values.
  • Parents commit to modeling personal purity and to lead by example in matters of faith and conduct. That means living a life of sexual purity according to God's standards—avoiding pre-marital sexual relations and living together before marriage. Therefore, parents that are living together and are not married cannot participate in the dedication ceremony.
