Christmas at Christ Community Church

Christmas can be a sweet time - a time spent with family, decorating the Christmas tree, moments with friends, baking your favorite Christmas cookies, and so much more. But we also understand that Christmas can be a difficult season. Maybe there’s an empty seat at the table this year, or maybe it brings up tough memories from long ago.

Because of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, we have the beautiful opportunity to experience true joy, peace, grace and love that can only come from Him. So no matter what your story looks like, we want you to know that there is hope and that hope came down for you. We invite you to celebrate in that hope at our Christmas Services at Christ Community Church!

Christmas In-Person

Every service is identical, so just simply choose the one that works best for you! Be sure to stop by our cafe for one of our signature holiday drinks before or after services!

Worship Through Scripture
Join us in a journey through Scripture leading up to Christ’s birth. This 22-day reading plan will begin with praise and prophecy in the Old Testament as God’s people waited in anticipation for a Savior. The reading will continue by chronologically following the birth of Christ through the Gospels, and conclude on Christmas day with the full classic story found in Luke 2.

"Christmas Time" - December Sermon Series

This month leading up to Christmas, we will be focusing on how this season is a time for worship, faith, blessing, and joy. We have a couple resources for you as you go through this series:

Worship Through Listening
Our worship team has provided a recommended list of songs designed to point you to worship uniquely in this season. As you worship through listening, remember the creativity, beauty and wonder as described in the lyrics and felt in the music.

Do You Have More Questions?

We will not have services on Sunday, December 25th. We also won't have in-person services on December 31st or January 1st, however we will have online services only on New Year's Weekend. Service times are still the same (Saturday, Dec. 31st @ 5:30PM, and Sunday, Jan. 1st @ 9:00AM + 10:30AM) and we will share it on the website after the last online service is over in case you miss it! Our pastors and staff are excited about this for several reasons: We want our volunteers to have the weekend off from serving to worship with friends and family; We believe we will reach more people with a special online service crafted for the holiday weekend than with an “in-person” service that gets livestreamed; We love trying new things to see where God is working. We hope you can join us online!

When you walk through the doors at CCC, someone will be there to greet you with a smile! You can either take a seat in our Auditorium, or swing by The Cafe for a hot beverage. Our service will have a Christmas message along with powerful music and a candle-lit portion at the end. For those who are online, you’ll have the exact same experience! Except... you'll have to make your own coffee and light your own candles at home.

We will have kidcity available at all services for kids 6-weeks to Kindergarten. Kids who are in 1st grade on up can stay with their families and enjoy the Christmas service together!

Whatever you're comfortable with! Maybe you feel like wearing a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt, or maybe you have a favorite Christmas outfit. No matter what you're feeling, your style will fit right in at CCC!
