OPEN REBUKE > HIDDEN LOVE

PROVERBS 27:5

Expressing my love breathes life and health into my relationships.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 3:17-19

Put love on your prayer list.

Let your roots grow deep into Jesus’ love for you. 

When you love someone, let them know (and don’t be afraid to say it first).

QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION/DISCUSSION

•How do you feel when someone says “I love you” to you?  How comfortable are you with saying “I love you” to others? 

•What do you think about looking to the cross when you are considering God’s love for you? 

•Do you see a connection between knowing you are loved and being good at expressing love for others? 

•Look at the 5 Love Languages.  What is/are your love language(s)?  How fluent are you in the other languages?

•Who needs to hear that you love them?
